Motorola had announced Moto G 5G Plus back in July this year. Soon after, people started predicting the arrival of the standard Moto G 5G. Finally, we have some news regarding this model. An excel file shared by Twitter user Adam Convey reveals its codename to be “Kiev.” The tipster also shared some more information about this particular device.
The Moto G 5G model number starting with “XT2113” is said to arrive with a newly launched Qualcomm Snapdragon 750G chipset. As you might already be aware, the mentioned processor is actually an upgraded version of Snapdragon 730G. Hence, we can expect a decent performance being it a mid-range smartphone.
As for optics, the device with having three cameras at the back with a primary Samsung GM1 48 sensor combined with an 8MP telephoto lens and 2MP depth sensor. On the front, it has a 16MP front-facing sensor using the 4MP pixel binning technology, as most other brands are doing nowadays. There is some more information available about this device from other reputed tipsters.
According to Misaal Rehman, another member of the XDA team, the handset will accumulate a 6.66-inch 1080 x 2400 pixels Full HD+ display. It packs a 5,000 mAh non-removable battery with a separate Google assistant button. There might be a different version without the GA button exclusively sold to Verizon.
