Lately, OnePlus had announced the OnePlus 8T smartphone following the previous tradition. It arrived as an upgraded version of the original OnePlus 8 with insignificant improvements. Now, the company announces another version of this smartphone named “OnePlus 8T Cyberpunk 2077 Edition.” As you might be aware, Cyberpunk 2077 is an upcoming video game. Hence, the OnePlus smartphone promotes its branding with the latest release.

The OnePlus 8T Cyberpunk 2077 Edition comes with the same specifications as found on the OnePlus 8T. But its look & feel is entirely different. It has an enlarged camera module on the rear side covering the significant space. There is Cyberpunk 2077 logo embedded at the rear portion. Moreover, the backside seems to bring sandstone finish what we have found on the earlier OnePlus devices. But there is no confirmation from the company, we are just assuming official images shared on Weibo.

As for the specifications, the device features a 6.55-inch 1080 x 2400 pixels full-HD+ Super AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. It is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 chipset coupled with Adreno 650 GPU to handle the graphics-intensive task. Regarding the optics, there is a quad-camera setup on the back. The primary one is a 48MP Sony IMX586 sensor, 16MP Sony IMX481 ultra-wide sensor, 5MP macro lens, and a 2MP depth sensor. The front side is loaded with a 16MP camera to take care of selfies.
The device comes in a single variant with 12GB LPDDR4X RAM combined with 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage, which can’t be expended. It runs on Android 10 out of the box on top of OxygenOS including Custom UI themes, live wallpapers, and icons. The battery capacity is 4500 mAh backed by massive 65W fast charging support. Overall, the device resembles the original OnePlus 8T as we mentioned earlier.
Pricing and Availablity
The OnePlus 8T Cyberpunk 2077 Edition is priced at CNY 3,999 ($598), which is CNY 300 more than the standard version. The handset is currently available for sale in China only with pre-orders starting on November 2; meanwhile, the actual sale will start on November 11.
